Thoughts For The Day

Thoughts 2

“The black moment is the moment when the real message of transformation is going to come. At the darkest moment comes the light.” ~ Joseph Campbell

from The Desk of MarDrag:

The energy this week has been difficult and dark, and I have heard from so many who have struggled with it. So…when I read this quote I knew I wanted to post it as a reminder that…just when it looks the darkest is when the greatest change, the brightest light, the most profound answers comes through. Look to that light and the message it brings. Stay with it…for the light always does come.

Thoughts 4

“The best way to treat obstacles is to use them as stepping-stones. Laugh at them, tread on them, and let them lead you to something better.” ~ Enid Blyton

from The Desk of MarDrag:

Obstacles…just the very word conjures an image like a great boulder and tricks us into believing they are bigger than our determination and power. But they are not, and if we use them as the surface from which to propel ourselves forward….then every obstacle can be that stepping stone as well a reflection of just how strong we can be. We must not let obstacles drain our power. For they only have as much power as we give them. When we take our power back from them we can watch them shrink, and that is when we can use them to benefit our progress.

Thoughts 5

“The true profession of man is finding his way to himself.” ~Herman Hesse

from The Desk of MarDrag:

No matter what we do in life, no matter the occupation we choose, no matter the vocation, the work or job we do, the career or way of life we choose…there is only one true job we have…one true profession…and that is…

…finding our True Self. And living as who we find. That is when everything else falls right into place.

  1. Good morning!
It has been a bit dark…luckily mostly in bad dreams and some thought… But Nothing real. The real is not bright, but it isn’t dark 🙂 thanks for reminding us that obstacles should not stop us, and that there is a light at the end.

I like your post describing the real profession 🙂

  2. So true, and I agree the energies last week have indeed been trying in many places… Even within my own family a small accident in a car for one, ( no one was hurt thankfully ) … We have many things to count our blessings for Mar.. I love reading your thoughts for the day 🙂
    many thanks for sharing 🙂
